Volkswagen’s Tiguan R-Line Packages Revealed

The most successful SUV in the German market just got a whole lot cooler thanks to the addition of R-Line accessories to its model. Volkswagen’s Tiguan has enjoyed immense success, especially with its newly face lifted 2012 model, and now Volkswagen will be offering an interior R-Line accessory package and an exterior R-Line accessory package.

Both packages are available for the Show & Style model of the Tiguan and comes with mostly aesthetic upgrades. For the outside package, the front and rear bumpers are replaced with more aggressive and sportier variants while the rear also gets a roof spoiler and rear diffuser. R-Line logos, new aluminum door sill plates and 19-inch wheels with 255/40/19 rubber finishes off the exterior package. The exterior package will run around $3,390 and can be had on any Candy White, Reflex Silver Metallic, Deep Black Pearl Effect, Night Blue Metallic or Pepper Gray Metallic Tiguan.

For the inside, the Tiguan can receive a pair of sport seats up front, unique upholstery, a sporty steering wheel, black headliner, aluminum pedals and R-Line logos. Those wanting leather seats will have to pay $2,920 for the R-Line package while those opting for non-leather seats will only have to hand over $1,160 for the interior upgrades.

Volkswagen did not mention whether or not the R-Line accessories for the Tiguan will make it to the United States.
