2013 Nissan Pathfinder Braves Cold Weather Testing

2013-Nissan-Pathfinder-Winter One of the biggest changes for the upcoming 2013 Nissan Pathfinder is its unibody construction, which should prove to be more comfortable and smoother than the outgoing model’s Frontier-based body-on-frame chassis. Despite the switch, Nissan says the new Pathfinder should be just as capable as its predecessor when it comes to off-road.

We’ve already heard about the cavernous interior that includes larger doors for easy access to the third row of seats. The long list of creature comforts will includes leather, a triple-zone rear entertainment system, and Bluetooth streaming audio. But how will it perform when the path ahead is hard to find due to mud and snow?

The following video features a few camouflaged Pathfinder testers tackling the elements and appears that it performs just fine. Of course, we’ll have to find out for ourselves as soon as the 2013 Pathfinder lands in showrooms sometime this summer.
