Buick introduced its 2013 Enclave SUV to press at the New York Auto Show this week in advance of its public debut on April 6.
The Enclave has been a hit for Buick, with nearly 60,000 units sold last year, more than comparable SUVs from Acura, Audi and Lincoln.
The 2013 model offers a choice of front- or all-wheel drive powered by a direct-inject 3.6L V6 and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Buick says its QuietTuning engineering reduces, blocks and absorbs unwanted noise from the cabin, making it quieter than a Lexus RX350.
Styling updates include new front fascia and headlamps (articulating headlamps are available), new hood and black-chrome waterfall grille, rear fascia with integrated exhaust outlets, new LED tail lights, new 19- and 20-inch aluminum wheel designs and a monochromatic exterior appearance with chrome accents.
The interior gets new ice blue LED ambient lighting around the dash, soft-touch materials, true chrome accents, and a new Cocoa leather colour combination.
