Nissan Juke to get GT-R engine for SEMA

Anyone who had the opportunity to drive a Nissan Juke will tell you this funky little beast handles like a real go-kart. And if you think ''beast'' is an overstatement, wait till you see the new variant sporting a GT-R engine at the upcoming SEMA show.

Yes, you read that right!

The harmless-looking ''Super'' Juke boasts a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 that cranks out 480 horsepower and achieves 0-60 mph sprints (0-96 km/h) in less than 4.0 seconds.

Expect the vehicle to also feature all-wheel drive and a number of technical upgrades, including heavy-duty brakes, to minimize torque steer and handle the massive output.

In terms of styling, the Juke will receive enlarged wheel arches, a front splitter, a rear diffuser and hopefully some stylish new wheels wrapped in high-performance rubber.

The debate about the industry's ultimate sleeper is on: Nissan's ''Super'' Juke or this 728-hp Toyota Camry?
