There’s not much new for the 2012 Nissan Juke other than pricing. According to the automaker, front-wheel-drive 2012 models see their sticker prices rise by $200, while all-wheel-drive models pricing inches up by about $350.
As a result, the least-expensive Juke money can buy is the 2012 Juke S FWD. Pricing for this model starts at $20,530, including $760 in destination charges. S models are equipped with a 188-hp, 177 lb-ft turbocharged 1.6-liter I-4, front-wheel-drive, and a continuously variable transmission. The S also features a six-speaker AM/FM/CD sound system and Bluetooth phone connectivity.
The Juke is offered in two higher trim levels – SV and SL – both of which offer a standard six-speed manual transmission. The SV starts at $21,840, and adds keyless ignition, automatic climate control, XM Satellite Radio, and a standard power sliding moonroof. The SL starts at $24,160, and includes features like automatic headlights, a rear-view camera, an upgraded Rockford Fosgate sound system, and a navigation system with a five-inch touchscreen.
For the SV and SL models, adding the continuously variable transmission also adds an additional $500. Though we enjoy the row-it-yourself nature of the six-speed manual, all Jukes built with the CVT are also available with a torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system, which adds another $1650 to the window sticker. All told, the top-end Juke SL AWD starts at $26,310, which is roughly $1400 less than its closest competitor, the Mini Cooper S Countryman ALL4.
