Fisher-Price Launches Ford F-250 Super Duty Pickup Truck

Fisher-Price-Ford-F-250-Super-Duty Now your kids can be just like dad and drive a Ford F-250 Super Duty pickup truck. The Fisher-Price toy has working lights, a speaker that plays engine sounds, a storage compartment beneath the seat, and the ability to carry children weighing up to 44 pounds.

The toy F-250 looks just like the real version found at Ford dealerships, with beefy plastic wheels and tires, a giant chrome grille, and four large square headlights. But that’s about where the similarities end: while buyers of the Ford F-250 can pick between a 6.2-liter V-8 and 6.7-liter turbodiesel V-8 engine, the Fisher-Price toy is powered only by a toddler’s feet.

There’s no word on whether this toy will be available in the new Platinum trim that Ford recently launched for the 2013 F-Series Super Duty. At just $42, however, the Fisher-Price pickup truck is far cheaper than the real-world models available in dealerships.
