Though the Lamborghini Aventador J remains a one-off model, the automaker isn’t going to let us forget about its unique supercar anytime soon.
The following video allows us to imagine we’re driving through a deserted mountain road at night. And it looks pretty sweet – and cold (remember, this car has no windshield). Still, a frostbitten nose is a small price to pay for an amazing, one-off Italian supercar.
The car that stunned attendees at this year’s Geneva auto show is based on the “normal” Aventador and is completely street legal. The car is still powered by the same 700-hp, 6.5-liter V-12 engine that sits behind the driver. Lamborghini even managed to retain the scissor-style doors. Not surprisingly, the automaker didn’t have any problems finding a buyer to fork over its $2.76-million price tag. The Aventador J may be off the market now, but it provides a glimpse of what to expect for the Aventador Roadster. No word on when that car is coming, but the automaker has already been caught testing the topless Aventador out in the snow.
