The 2013 SRT Viper is nearly ready for dealership lots. Hennessey Performance announced initial details of their tuning programs for the 2013 SRT Viper. There are already two versions waiting in the wings: The Venom 700R and 1000 Twin Turbo.
The 700R kit for the Viper and Viper GTS will upgrade that engine’s cylinder heads, exhaust, air filters, management software, gaskets and other stuff with high performance parts.Buyers can also opt to add an upgraded coilover suspension system, rear differential cooler, new wheels, and plenty of carbon fiber exterior trim pieces.
The 2013 SRT Viper Venom 700R can do the classic 0 to 60 run in 3.1 second, and reach a top speed of 216 mph.
The 2013 SRT Viper 1000 Twin Turbo accepts modifications to the next level by replacing the engines inner parts with Hennessey’s own high performance bits and bobs. It gets new pistons, new rods, new bearings, huge turbochargers and an air-to-air intercooler, a bespoke exhaust system. Final power output is listed at a scarcely believable 1120 hp and 1092 lb-ft of torque, which should be enough to hurdle the Viper to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds, and through the quarter-mile trap in 9.7 seconds.
