At the 2012 SEMA Show, Hyundai will join A Cosworth-tuned Hyundai Genesis Coupe and the Genesis Coupe R-Spec modified by ARK Performance to make the ultimate road-going version of the car. Known as the Cosworth Genesis Racing Series (CGRS), It is of course based on the 2013 model, and the 3.8 liter V6 version. The modified coupe will feature the prerequisite performance and appearance upgrades expected at the show.
Cosworth Genesis Coupe gets a nice engine upgrade treatment consisting of improved thermal management, optimized of induction and exhaust systems, enhanced engine control parameters and Cosworth intake and high-flow exhaust. The result is 389 horsepower, which is about 50 more than the standard, and also 325 lb.-ft of torque.
Cosworth brakes and suspension have also been updated. Exterior, especial blue paint sets off the body kit with integrated lip and trunk lid spoilers, and a rear valance. Course, the interior has also got show car trim updates with specially-finished two-tone sports seats.
