With golf’s Open Championship set to tee off this Thursday at the Royal St. George, Lexus has revealed that two top US golfers will be using its RX 450h hybrid as their official transport at the event.

Currently ranked 10th in the world, Nick Watney and 1998 Open winner Mark O’Meara are Lexus brand ambassadors in the USA and will be using the big hybrid SUVs during their stay in Sandwich.
Lexus has a heavy involvement with golf in the UK with its annual Lexus Golf Challenge a popular event. This year 25 Lexus Centres have hosted golf competitions, with players able to qualify for regional finals held at some of the UK’s top courses.
Regional winners will progress to the “Monty Day” final, with the opportunity to meet and play with Colin Montgomerie at the Kingswood Golf and Country Club in Surrey in October.
