Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series coming to Canada next year?

It seems as though Canada will get its second available Black Series Mercedes. According to Beyond.ca, several members of their discussion forum were contacted by their dealers, asking to confirm their spot on a C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series waiting list for a contest run by Mercedes-Benz Canada.

After contacting their sales reps, some of those members were informed that the new Black Series car will arrive in the country sometime in 2012 as a 2013 model. The naturally-aspirated 6.2-litre V8 will remain underhood, but will get similar internal features to the lump that powers the SLS AMG. Over 500 horses and 457 lb-ft of torque is expected, as is an AMG Speedshift MCT 7-speed tranny, an adjustable coilover suspension and a locking rear differential.

Price? Just over $100,000. But if you’re interested, it’s supposedly too late to order one, as the Canadian allocation of the C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series has already been spoken for. As for the contest, Mercedes-Benz Canada will randomly draw a winner among those who have succeeded in putting down a deposit on one; that person and a guest will win a trip to attend the German F1 Grand Prix and preview the car he or she will be purchasing.

This could all be confirmed by Mercedes-Benz Canada this month.
