Ford promised to put on a show of its own at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show by unveiling a new ''major styling exercise''. It will be called Evos Concept and introduce Ford's new approach in terms of design and technology.
More than just a styling exercise, actually, the Evos Concept showcases the company's first truly global design language and a new vision for customer-focused and intuitive technologies. “Most notable is the brand new ‘face of Ford’, with its higher mounted trapezoidal grille'', said executive design director Martin Smith.
Similar in shape and size to the new Focus sedan, this four-door coupe is powered by the same hybrid system as the C-MAX Energi, allowing a range of over 800 kilometres on a single charge. The Evos Concept also features several technologies focused on driver wellness, such as a heart-rate monitoring seat and a certified allergy-free interior.
Further details will be provided in Frankfurt, where the model is set to make its global debut.
