2012 Edo Competition Porsche Panamera S Hellboy
Is the Porsche Panamera S not powerful enough for you, but the Panamera Turbo not showy enough? German tuner Edo Competition may have the answer for you: its new Panamera S Hellboy.
Edo starts by massaging the stock 400-hp, 4.8-liter V-8, and adding a new ECU, air intake, and exhaust system with high-flow mufflers and catalytic converters. Edo says this yields an extra 65 hp and 35 lb-ft of torque, bringing output to 465 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. That’s reportedly good for a 0-62 mph time of 4.6 seconds (0.6 seconds quicker than in stock form) and a top speed above the 190-mph mark.
Apart from the black paint and the thin, acid green pinstriping, exterior revisions include a new front fascia with larger air intakes, a new front skirt with integrated daytime running lamps, and a carbon fiber front lip. Carbon fiber side and rear skirts reportedly increase downforce, as does a rear ducktail spoiler crafted from the same composite material. The aforementioned exhaust system is capped with a ceramic-coated, billet aluminum tail pipe that is integrated nicely into a new carbon fiber rear diffuser. Unique Edo-sourced 21-inch forged wheels are also part of the package, and provide a nice view of the brake calipers – which are also painted acid green, of course.
Inside, the Hellboy is trimmed to the nines in both leather and alcantara, and also receives new trim pieces for both the center console and dashboard. An alcantara-wrapped, multifunction sports steering wheel is also tossed in for good measure. If that’s not entirely in sync with your taste, Edo notes it’s more than happy to createbespoke interior leather and trim combinations to suit.
