A mistakenly-leaked brochure provides a first taste of the all-new Toyota Prius C in production trim... well before the car makes its official debut.
Barely larger than the 2012 Yaris, the C is the smallest member of the Prius family.
The brochure specifies that power will come from a hybrid system that combines a 1.4-litre, 4-cylinder gasoline engine (74 hp, 81.9 lb-ft) with an electric motor (61 hp, 125 lb-ft) and a CVT.
The Japanese-spec Prius C will have its world premiere at the Tokyo Motor Show in December, while Toyota recently revealed that the North American debut would take place at Detroit's NAIAS in January of 2012.
The automaker believes the Prius C will be the most fuel-efficient hybrid without a plug on the market.
