Toyota has announced pricing for its T/X Baja Series package, tacking on an extra $5,015 for Tacoma’s equipped with the TRD Off-Road Package, which ranges from $3,455 to $3,570.
Inspired by the Japanese automaker’s Baja racing heritage, the special limited edition package is available on the following Tacoma 4×4 models: Access Cab V6 manual and automatic, Double Cab V6 manual and automatic. The package comes with ‘Baja Series’ graphics and enhanced suspension, further improving the TRD Off-Road package.
The package is backed by Toyota’s standard vehicle warranty and currently the automaker is offering a $650 factory credit. The T/X Baja Series package adds on LT265/70R16 BF Goodrich T/A KO tires wrapped around bead-lock style off-road wheels that come in gunmetal gray. For performance, a TRD cat-back exhaust system is bolted on and the front ride height is increased nearly two inches.
In the front, suspension upgrades include Bilstein race shocks and TRD springs. The rear also sees Bilstein shocks equipped with a remote reservoir to increase shock oil capacity for greater heat dissipation and damping sensitivity.
On the inside, the TRD Sport and Off-Road package features new water-resistant fabric protection seats.
MSRP for the Access Cab 4×4 V6 manual with both packages, minus the credit is $32,990 while the automatic is priced at $33,975. The Double Cab pricing is $34,275 for the manual and $35,255 for the automatic.
