When it comes to most anything, you get what you pay for. Do you get what you pay for with the 2013 Dodge Dart, which starts at $16,790? Dodge recently released pricing information on the all-new compact car, and forum user TAF4Mopar is wondering whether the 2013 Dodge Dart is reasonably priced.
Recently named on WardsAuto‘s “10 Best Interiors” list for 2012, the 2013 Dodge Dart features plenty of soft-touch surfaces and nifty glowing gauges. Available in five trim levels, the base SE model gets you a 2.0-liter inline-four engine that produces 160 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque, and goodies such as LED taillights, power windows, and a CD player with MP3 capability.
The range-topping Dart R/T commands $23,290 for 24 more horses with a 2.4-liter inline-four engine, 18-inch wheels, sports suspension, R/T-specific Nappa leather seats, dual-zone climate control, heated steering wheel, and a more aggressive-looking front fascia with black accents. For comparison, the base 2012 Ford Focus sedan starts at $17,295, and tops out at $22,600 for the Titanium sedan, while the base 2012 Chevrolet Cruze runs from $17,595 to $23,985 for the top-trim LTZ.
