Spanish electric car makers Quimera has successfully taken its All Electric GT prototype or a first test drive around the F1 circuit Alcañiz (Motorland), Spain.
The multinational project management firm says its AEGT01 model is the most powerful EV in the world, achieving an impressive 0-60 mph in just over three seconds. With three electric motors generating 700 ps and around 1000 lb of torque, this carbon fibre car has a top speed of 300km/h (180 mph).
More is expected to be revealed about the technology behind the car at the Frankfurt Motor Show when the model makes its debut tomorrow.
Two prototypes are expected to be manufactured in the coming months with official tests expected to be conducted in the first quarter 2012. Watch the video above to see how it moves!
